WHY SHOULD YOUNG ATHLETES EAT IT?

These basil ham quesadillas are the right snack after school or practice. They are fulfilling and quick to make. Good source of calcium and protein for those active and strong muscles

      Ingredients
      • 2 whole wheat tortilla
      • 1 handful white cheddar cheese organic preferably
      • 2-3 organic ham cut into small squares antibiotic and hormone free
      • 1 chopped basil leaf
      Servings:
      Instructions
      1. Heat a medium size pan on low-to-medium heat for about 1 minute. Place 1 tortilla on the pan
      2. Sprinkle cheese and let it sit until slightly melted (about 20 secs)
      3. Add ham and basil by spreading it on top of the cheese
      4. Place 2nd tortilla on top
      5. After about 10 secs flip over and let it sit for about another 10 secs
      6. Remove from heat and place on a plate. Cut into triangles and serve
